The Technician's role includes delivering:
Accurate, high-quality repairs
Reliable and dependable vehicles
Effective communication, observation and learning skills
Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Technology savvy with quick adaptation to new software
Responsibilities of a Mobile Service Technician:
Accurate and timely diagnosis, fixing, and repairing vehicles.
Comprehensive vehicle inspection to advise customers on necessary repairs for safe and reliable vehicles.
Completing repairs prioritized by the Service Advisor following the Workflow System of the shop.
Inspection of incoming parts for accuracy.
Work on a vehicle only when the work is authorized and the required parts are available.
Seek assistance from the Foreman when facing difficulties with a vehicle.
Record all repair notes on the Repair Order and return it to the Service Advisor upon job completion.
Maintain maintenance, cleanliness and safety of assigned service truck and all company property.
Properly dispose of all parts boxes, and put unneeded parts in their proper location.
Ensure all cars remaining overnight at the shop are securely parked.
Clean and neatly place all shop equipment and tools after use.
Politely greet any customers you may come in contact with in the field.
Provide help to other technicians as needed.
